Laptops and tablet constantly disconnect from wi-fi
I quite regularly have to reconnect with my laptops and tablet. This is very annoying. Thought it might be my range extenders so I moved them closer to no avail. I have the Netgear C7100V.
Not a whole lot of info to go off here.
1. What range extender are you using?
2. Firmware on the extenders?
3. How large is your home?
4. What materials make up your home (walls/floors, certain materials block signals quite well)
5. Are you using the same wireless names for your extenders and router? many devices have issues with this. Especially when you're using more than 1 extender. I usually recommend moving to a mesh system if people need more than a single extender.
6. If you shut off both extenders and just run off the C7100v, is your wireless stable and runs fine? Just trying to determine if it is indeed a router issue, and extender issue, or a setup problem.
