Are you maybe getting a ip address conflict you usually see a yellow triangle come up on top of your wireless connection icon.

    I am seeing the yellow triangle.

      Hello Golfman1007

       

      I would go into the settings of your wireless on your XP machine clear out all old wireless networks you connected to in the past and then try to connect again.

        I did that. Now I get "Windows was unable to find a certificate to log you on to the network". The status never changes from "Validating Identity".
