> I bought the netgear RX8000 router to pair with my c7000v2 is that
> even possibleFirst, start your own new thread for your own new problem, instead of
diverting this old, unrelated thread.> Model: R8000|Nighthawk X6 AC3200 Smart WIFI Router
Second, when you do that, decide on _which_ model, "RX8000" or
"R8000". Look for "Model" on the product label.Third, what was your actual goal? _Why_ do you want to "pair" these
devices (whatever that means to you)?If your goal was to extend the wireless network coverage of your
C7000v2, then visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your (actual)
model number ("R8000"?), and look for Documentation. Get the User
Manual. Read. Look for "Use the Router as a Wireless Access Point".
General advice: You might have more success if you described the
actual problem which you are trying to solve, rather than asking how to
implement some particular "solution" (like, say, "pair this gizmo with
that gizmo"), which may have little or nothing to do with the actual
problem (whatever it might be).Including a few accurate facts might not hurt, either.
