Logging in to download firmware
I'm trying to download the latest firmware for my router but the site it directs me to go to ( http://192.168.1.1) won't accept my password. I changed my password in case I had it wrong and it stil...

That's your own router's built-in web site.
If the expected credentials don't work, and the default values
("admin" and "password") also don't work, then the usual suggestion is
to do a full ("factory") reset, and then reconfigure the router.
Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number, and look
for Documentation. The User Manual should explain the procedure.
