Loging in to CM1100 Modem
modem http://192.168.100.1. login doesn't work. "Times out", using FF, Chrome, and MS Edge. Is there another log-in I can use?

No suggestion is only to test to make sure a PC can get to the Modems web page. If so, then you'll need to contact the Mfr of your wifi router system for there help and support to see what can be done as that router maybe the cause of the issue.

CAT 5e cable CM1100 to Asus Router to Win 10 PC. Want to check my Modem Logs because my Xfinity HSI randomly requires Modem restart to get back to contracted speeds. No pattern that I have been able to discern.

Can you acces the CM modem web page with one ethernet connected PC connected to the back of the CM modem with out the router connected. Power OFF the modem, disconnect the wifi router, connect the ethernet PC, power ON the modem, give a 1 minute then try the web page in a web browser.

I understand the point of your suggestion, but I don't have a long enough cable to reach my PC from the modem, so assuming your process allows me to connect with the modem, and since I need my router for all my other devices, is there a work around to bypass the router, even when it's on? Otherwise, the work around you propose is not a permanent solution.
