Losing internet connection daily

The internet connection drops on a daily basis. Lasts about 15 minutes and comes back up. How do I know if the problem is the unit or the service provider?

    Reset the modem

    Ensure there isn't any coax line spltters between the modem and ISP modem service box. 

     

    Contact the ISP and have them check the service signal quality and levels up to the modem. Check any logs during this time frame when you notice the modem seesm to go down.
