lower router speed from 32-5g to lower speed
how do i lower my router speed from 32-5g to slower speed

What are you lowering the speed for?
What devices do you have connected?
5Ghz?
Whats 32?
16x4 DS3.0 AC1200 Cable Modem Router (C6230)- my outside cameras wont work on that speed..only on a lower speed 32
Have never see 32. No idea what that is.
Might ask the camera Mfr on information to helping them get there cameras working.
Take a look at the modems web page under Basic Tab/Wireless for channels and wifi speed support here.
are you talking 2.4ghz?
That modem/router is a combo device and supports both 2.4ghz and 5ghz simultaneously.
Some cameras struggle with setup if your phone is on 5ghz while trying to setup a 2.4ghz device (crappy coding).
so just make sure the phone is on 2.4ghz for setup.
