MAC ADDRESS ISSUES
The MAC address for both devices on the equipment are slightly different to the MAC Addresses that are shown in NETGEAR Genie. I find this confusing. Nonetheless I have had lengthy discussions with NETGEAR Technical Support on this is issue and I have not been able to get a staifactory answere from anyone. The modem router and extender work fine and connect to the Internet and when I tell tech support all they say it "it must be OK if it works". I do not find this to be a staifactory answer. WHy are the MAC addresses different - is this a NETGEAR quirk or something more sinister???

I presonally don't use Genie anymore as it's getting old and not sure how much longer this app is getting updated. I would trust what you see on them modems web page using a web browser and whats printed on the sticker.
