Mac address
I recently purchased the C6300 AC1750 which is replacing the Motorola that quit working. I called my cable company to register it with them. I have internet connection but I seem to be or have lost some email/passwords since changing. When I enter my email & passwords on certain websites such as my bank, netflix they get accepted but sites like Hulu Plus, Geico they say that the email and/or passwords are incorrect. I did find that the Mac address on the netgear is the same as the mac address on my older Motorola. Could this be my problem and if so what should i do?

Changing the modem shouldn't mess up the passwords that are save that should be stored on your PC it could be those sites check the IP address and yours may of changed when swapping the modem you may have to look on the settings of those secure pages to allow your IP.
