moC3700dem/router combo
My C3700 is connected to Comcast Xfinity. Just upgraded to Blast at 250 MBPS. I was at 25 before. My speed will not get above 35. There are no issues with line (speed is fine when hardwired). and Comcast reports that my router is set for the proper speed. Is ther something I need to do with the router/modem? Or is it dead? It is 3 years old.

You may need to factory reset the unit see if that helps but make sure that they are actually assigning the modem the correct speed because sometimes it gets assigned to a new modem that you dont even own.
