MODEL C6300 PLAYSTATION NOT CONNECTING

I have a Model C6300 for NETGEAR
Play what games on what device?
Play multi-player online games on my Playstation.
How is it connected to the modem/router? Wifi? Wired?
My connection is wireless and signal strength is 100%.
What happens when you try? Any error messages?
When I test my connection, internet connection succeeds but signing into Playstation network fails. I tried this on another Playstation system and the same thing happens.
I have downloaded the online manual for this model and it says to try using a DMZ server or port triggering, but I don't want to mess with anything without guidance first.

Okay, so my Playstation 4 works. I am trying to login to a beta server on my PS3 to play Socom: Confrontation. I use a primary and secondary DNS in order to log in but I have recently moved and use a different NETGEAR. A friend told me that the device may be blocking that DNS so I entered it in the NETGEAR wireless setting. Tried resetting router and it still won't let me use the server.
What happens if you put the PS console temporarily in the the modems DMZ?
Remote the DMZ setting after testing this.
