Model CM500 internet

Just purchased a CM500 when i connect to a verizon cable coax it will not connect to internet

    I didn't know verizon had coax cable setup.

    Did you check with them to see if its compatible with their service?

    Check with the ISP first to ensure the ISP supports modems on there network.
