Modem / Router compatibility
I have a new CM1000 Modem and am having issues getting it to sync with my AC 1750 R6400-2 wireless router. I have internet for my computer, but my TV streaming service and my OOMA connections won't work.

How do you have it connected?
do this:
power off the cm1000 and the r6400 and disconnect everything from both. (even coax)
wait 2 minutes.
connect coax back to cm1000 and power it on.
wait 2 minutes
connect lan cable from cm1000 to wan port on r6400.
Power it on and wait 2 minutes.
Set it up.
Then connect the ooma/other devices to the r6400.
It should go modem----->router------>devices
This was perfect and fixed all but one of my issues. My streaming service doesn't seem to be able to locate my wireless network. Any ideas?
No need to reply to this, the router ended up needing to be replaced. Everything works perfectly. Thank you for your assistance.
