Modem fails to reconnect after cable outage

CMD31T modem fails to reconnect after a cable outage. Have to manually reset modem to get connected again. Is there some setup function in the modem to change that?   Thanks,   Bob

Sorry sometimes you gotta reset the modem so it syncs back up.

Kind of makes it useless if you are trying to change the setpoint on a WI-FI thermostat after being out of town for a while.

 

Guess it's back to a Motorola modem. Hate that I wasted my money.
