The modem is in the basement of a 3 story town house and it is hooked to the line that comes from directly outside. There are no splitters or amplifiers in there. Here is a screenshot of the down and up

What ISP are you using?
the cm500 is a 16x4 modem. Not sure if this is true for all isp's firmware but in my experience if there isn't all the channels to lock for the modem, they still show but not as locked. Yours is only showing as a 8x3?
- lxstasy04Sep 11, 2019AspirantI am using Shentel in northern va. I have a 150mbps down and 10 up. Not sure how many channels supposed to have. Is there anyway I can find out?

I don't see the CM500 as even a supported modem for your network. Here's their list of supported devices.

- lxstasy04Sep 11, 2019AspirantYea I had a arris that was doing the same thing as this one. I picked this up just to test to see if it would do the same thing and it does. I call the isp and they set it up and said it was good to go.
