Modem only mode C3700100NAS
I recently bought a TP Link AC1750 router. I went to disable the router function on my netgear C3700 to prevent double NAT on my gaming systems. It was supposed to enable a " bridge mode". However, the TP Link router isn't working and I can't get Wifi unless by wired connection.

Easy test to see if its the c3700?
put it in modem only mode and directly connect a pc. Does it work? If its working and you can't see wifi broadcasting, its in modem only mode.
If that all works, try this.
1. put the c3700 on modem only mode. once its fully switched, power it off.
2. Factory reset the tp-link. Once its fully reset, power it down.
3. power on the c3700 with nothing but coax connected. give it a few minutes.
4. connect lan cable from c3700 to wan port on tp link
5. power up tplink
6. try to setup the tplink
keep in mind, in modem only mode, you can only connect 1 device to the c3700.
