Is it saying "connected, no internet" on devices?
Do wired devices drop? or just wireless?
The goal is to determine if its a wireless issue or a modem side issue

Thanks for the replies and suggestions! This router is in a condo I'd not been in for a couple years. When I returned, the connections defaulted to 5GHz. I changed it over to 2.4, and that fixed the drops. Fortunately, 2.4 works fine for my needs.
I don't know why 5GHz drops occur. The router is in the same room, within 30 feet or so of most devices with no intervening wall or obstruction. I'll bookmark this thread and return to try the fixes if I find I need more speed in the future.
