I'd try a factory reset so you can access the GUI to get the cable connections page and event logs.
Those are a bit key with cable modem/routers.
Do wired devices drop?

Thanks. I did find one hit from someone that said the factory reset restored access to the Event Log. We will try that.
There are no wired devices to the router. All connections are wireless.
