Modem suggestions needed
My daughter gave me a brand new Nighthawk X6 router and I need to buy a modem that is compatible with Cox internet preferred 150mbps service. I've tried researching this stuff and oh my gosh my mind is just jumbled. I don't know what I'm looking at because I don't understand all the jargon. I know that I need dual band and I know that I need both Wi-Fi and ethernet connectivity but that's it as far as my knowledge goes. I am on a budget but I'm willing to put out a bit of money as long as it is a good product that will last. My daughter spent a lot of money for this router, more than I would have. I don't want to go cheap on a modem, because I'm afraid that it will diminish the effectiveness of the router. Please help me with suggestions as to a good Netgear modem that would be appropriate. Thank you for your help in advance.

What's its actual model number? Look for "Model" on the product

Practically any current cable modem (model CMxxxx) should be adequate
for 150Mb/s service. I wouldn't restrict my search to Netgear products.
