Modem/Router Security Issue
I recently had to perform a hard restart on my modem. Since then, I am receiving a message on my Mac tools (MacBook and Ipad) that my WiFi setting is "Weak Security." It further states that "WPA/WPA2...
Admin and password doesn't work to log in to the modems web page? if not, then, Wire connect a PC to the router and factory reset the router using the back push pin button. Hold it in for 10 seconds then let go. Then log in to http://routerlogin.net or 192.168.0.1 or maybe 192.168.1.1, using a web browser and walk thru the setup wizard. This time write down all important information for safe keeping later on.
Then set WPA2 and AES Only on the modems web page under Basic Tab/Wireless Settings.
