My Bryant theromostat won't recognize the networks of the Netgear C7000v2
Can't get the Bryant Home Heating and Cooling thermostat to show the 5G and regular networks of my Netgear modem/router.

Have you done anything cute with your SSID names (spaces, emojis, special characters)? Just because your router will take it does not mean your IoT device will see it. Rename your SSID's, 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz differently to something really simple and check your thermostat.

Mosts thermostats are single band devices and won't see/connect to 5ghz.
Have you connected your phone to the 2.4ghz and simply set it up on that?
