My C3000 router has had the username and password changed.

I’m not sure what to do if I can’t log in on the app, my wifi signal has been horrible recently and I have suspicions of someone using it.

    What do you mean by "can’t log in on the app"?

     

    As to the wifi signal, any other wifi sources around that could interfere with yours? Have you changed the wifi password so that no one else can use it?

     

    Your subject says something about passwords. There are several that you could mean.

     

    One is the password that you get into the browser graphical user interface (GUI) to manage the router. The other is the password you use to access the wifi.

     

    Your C3000, if that is what you own, is a cable modem/router.

     

    While many questions about routers are generic and could be answered anywhere, some things need specialist knowledge.

    Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware. Look at the label on the device for the model number.

    I mention it because Netgear stopped supplying printed manuals and CD versions some years ago and people sometimes miss the downloads.
