My modem, Netgear CM500 isn't giving the correct speeds.
Hi everyone, so recently I purchased a CM500 for my internet plan for optimum. I was getting a little 300 download and 30 upload. Ever since I switched a couple days ago my speeds have been just awfu...
The router I have is TP-Link AC1750, Archer A7. I just tested directly to the modem and interestingly enough it gave me the same speeds im getting already.
Try testing a different wired PC...
Please post a copy and paste of the modems connection status page.
Have the ISP check the signal and line quality UP to the modem. Be sure the ISP provisions the modem correctly.
Be sure there are no coax cable line splitters in the between the modem and ISP service box.
Be sure your using good quality RG6 coax cable up to the modem.
Be sure to power OFF the modem for 1 minute them back ON.
