I have an N600 wifi cable modem router model c3700. When trying to install new firmware these were the instructions. Launch a web browser from a computer or WiFi device that is connected to the network. Note: We recommend that you use an Ethernet cable to connect your computer to your router to update the firmware. Enter http://www.routerlogin.net. Enter the router user name and password. Note: The user name is admin, and the default password is password. The user name and password are case-sensitive. Select ADVANCED > Administration. Click the Firmware Update or Router Update button. The button label varies by router. I CANNOT FIND A "FIRMWARE OR ROUTER UPDATE" button. Any ideas??????

Why Netgear sends such notices to people with cable modems is a
mystery.
