N300 router for dorm/apt - SLOWWWWW
Purchased a N300 Wifi cable modem router for dorm/apartment. Connected to University's internet by ethernet. Wireless is so slow, but hardwire is not. Basically does not work. Any help with why?

The first thing that I would check if just the wireless is slow is do you have any older wifi devices that are using 802.11 B it will bring the whole wireless network down to 11mbps. Also you say you are connecting to your university's Internet by Ethernet so do you not have a cable connection to the n300? Hope to hear your feedback
