N300 wireless only connects one device

Our service went out, and when it came back on our devices would not connect. I have done a factory reset on the modem/router, and the modem side works fine but the wireless will only connect one device at most. I have logged into the router page, and the event log shows 1970-1-1 as a date on some of the entries. I also see no MAC address and DHCP is OFF, but the router site does not have a Setup menu area where I can actually change any settings. Anyone know what is going on here?

    Hello misicalacct

Was it a power outage that knocked it out could of messed the modem up. You can try a factory reset again also you may want to contact your ISP have them send signals to the modem it may need to upgrade the firmware again. If you still can not access this stuff you may need to contact Netgear phone support if the modem is still under warranty.

  • I don't think it was a surge, it was some maintenance Mediacom did. The modem/router is on a surge protector. Done a factory reset and talked to Mediacom, everything looks fine from their end and we can get one device to connect. Just not more than the one. Netgear won't help unless we buy a service plan. Guess we're just buying a new one.
