I have been experiencing this as well starting about a week & half ago with XFINITY. The wireless drops out, I cold-reboot, it seems ok, then it drops out again. It worked fine a couple days, but after a couple chat sessions with XFINITY & a call to their wireless support, they say that nothing seems wrong on their end then the issues starts happening again. Have you come to any conclusions as to what is going on?

I asked and suggested something, you just tslk away not responding to what I suggested. Very dificult to trouble-shoot. I am not
on your side whereever you are. UInless some good info. is provided there is nothing much any one can do. You just keep saying
it does not work well. Sorry. I am asking again. Is Xfinity modem is jut modem or is it modem/router combo? How did you set up
your own router? Are you using Genie?

VE6CGX thanks for the sugestions. Sorrry I'm just now responding, it has been a busy mothers day! The Modem is not hot to the touch. The Modem is mine and my ISP is COX. I will try running the router with the cables re. I will have to look for an alternate power cable as well. Thanks!

Hello Drakekse
If you are getting alot of T3 and T4 timeouts this may be a issue with the cable lines you may want to have your ISP check things out. Here is a link that explains the timeouts.
