N450 cannot connect to server via wifi

N450 cable modem/router Firmware version 3.01.22;

I have a network switch connected to the router.  Connected to the switch are a mix of Windows and Apple PCs, home security system, Sony PS4, Sonos stuff, etc.  Also connected to the switch is a server (Dell Professional Workstation) and several IP cameras.  The server is running Blue Iris, Plex and has shared file space.  All the devices connected via ethernet can connect to the server and access all the applications.  All the attached devices can assess the internet.  The problem: any device connected to WiFi cannot access the server, yet these devices can access the internet.  Oddly, my smartphone, when connected to WiFi, cannot access Blue Iris from the Blue Iris app (on the phone).  However if I disable WiFi on my phone the Blue Iris will connect via 4G (comming in through an open port in the N450 modem/router).  It appears to be some type of WiFi issue in the N450.  If my Macbook Pro is connected to the server over ethernet, everything works.  If I disconnect the ethernet cable and turn on WiFi, I can no longer connect to the server (yet I can still access the internet).  Pining the server shows the host is unreachable (over WiFi).  This was all working at one time and stopped a couple months ago.  No configuration changes have occurred on the N450 between then and now.

And the IP address of the MacBook interface is in the same subnet
    either way?

As I recall, there have been some reports here on various routers
regarding unexpected isolation of the wireless clients from the rest of
the LAN.  Normally, this would be done for a "guest" wireless client,
and it would be optional (with a setting like BASIC > Guest Network :
Allow guests to see each other and access my local network).  But, as I
read the N450/CG3000Dv2 User Manual, this thing doesn't have have a
    guest network capability.

I know nothing, but I'd guess that you have a firmware bug.  You
could try a settings reset (and manual reconfiguration), but I wouldn't
    bet on a better outcome.

Do you know what the firmware version was when it worked?  You might
also check with your ISP, to see if there's some new/exotic setting over
which they might have some influence.

      Antinode,

      Thanks for the reply!

Only one subnet, so yes weather on ethernet or WiFi my MBP is on the same subnet.

My version of the router has a guest network option, but I have never enabled it.

I have another N450 collecting dust in the basement.  I'll see if I get it to run, and check the firmware version.  I may have to eventually switch over to this one.  If it wasn't such a PITA to get Comcast to provision it.
