One more thing I just noticed that is worthy of note.
I'm able to login without problems on my wife's computer which is connected via WIFI.
I only seem to be having the "drop all computers" problem if the machine trying to login has a hard wired connection to the modem.

Have you updated the network drivers on that PC?

Two separate machines exhibit the behavior.
One is a SurfaceBook and that is kept up to date via the normal Windows Update Process. I have updated the SurfaceDock firmware within the past few months.
The other machine is an older desktop. I haven't explicitly upgraded the network driver.
But, both of these machines that exhibit this behavior are hard wired to the router.
That said, It does not make sense to me why network drivers would be causing this behavior. For example, if I log into the router from my SurfaceBook, why would it cause the laptop in the other room, or my phone, or my Roku, to lose their Internet connection?
