n45oo modem and nighthawk. Slow to no internet service

I was told by my cable company that My service is slow or not at all due to having both of those items.  I was told that they are fighting with eachother over security.  According to cox, they both do the same thing.

    Hello Ilovetech

     

    yes you will want to either turn your ISP modem into modem only or select the option in the nighthawk for access point this will stop the conflict from happening.
