Nat type 1 on ps4.
I wanted to ask for some help I recently bought this Modem/Router combo and tried my hardest to get an open nat type but port forwarding and Dmz didn't help at all. I wanted to if someone knew what to do to make my Nat Type Open on PS4.

The only way to get NAT Type 1 on any Sony PS consoles is to connect the game console directly to a modem only unit. The C7800 has a built in router thus has a NAT condition here which is expected. So the game console will only see NAT Type 2. This also goes for a modem only unit with a external connected wifi router. This is the norm for Sony NAT Type status.
If you put the C7800 in modem mode only, then connect the game console to the C7800, then you'll see NAT Type 1, however all router and wifi freatures will be disabled in this mode.
