Needing to buy new modem

I need to buy a new cable modem and would like to get some suggestions. My old modem was the Netgear CM 1200 and it was paired with the Netgear RAXE500 and that combo seemed to work perfectly. The only complaint I would have is I never needed or could use ports 2,3 and 4 on the modem unless I bought another router and IP address or speeds went past 1 gig . I have a small home (1300 sq ft) live by myself and have a workshop about 200 ft from my house. I have 2 smart tv's and a tv on a fire stick, all my calling at home is on Wi-Fi and most everything else gets the internet through TP-Link Powerline adapters , there are 4 of them. My internet speed at this time is 1 gig but several providers are talking about providing high speeds of up to 2 gig out here soon. If anyone could recommend a modem I would appreciate it
