Netgear AC1900 C7000V2 only transmitting 200mbps speeds
I have a Netgear AC1900 modem/router with 600mbps Xfinity internet. I just upgraded but all my devices are only getting 200mbps. I have plugged my laptop in and I get 600-650mbps. I had the Xfi Gateway for a few days before returning it and my phone was reaching speeds of 350-550mbps around the house. The AC1900 is just not transmitting full speeds. I need help and not sure where to start with.

Its more an issue of what the device is. The C7000 is 8 years old and a modem/router combo device that was a base model docsis 3.0 gigabit device.
The newer xfinity gateway's are docsis 3.1 AX devices with much more capabilities as they're a wireless generation newer and almost a decade newer. Comparing a newer xifnity gateway to that devices isn't a apples to apples comparison. A better comparison would be going the CAX80/CAX30 to the xfinity gateway.
I'd expect to get 250-350mbps out of the C7000's wireless if everything isn't working well, there isn't much interference, and your device is capable of those speeds over AC.
What device are you testing on?
Have you tried changing the 5ghz channel? (2.4ghz won't hit over 100mbps)
