Yes - I did. It didn't work also. Finally I got fedup and asked Xfinity to supply their own cable modem, which works beautifully giving speeds of 180 MBPS wireless (it has 2.5 Ghz and 5 Ghz).
I recently bought a range extender also and that has the same problem as other netgear equipment.... speeds don't exceed 25-30 MBPS... Something wrong about these routers vs what's advertised by Netgear... very misleading.
bprometheus72 which cable modem from Xfinity did you purchase? Was it a modem router combo? I have having the same problem with Netgear C3000 and with the many complaints i saw on Netgear community I don't think netgear was able to provide any solutions.
