Netgear C7000v2 Firmware V.1.03.03 2.4G wifi problem
I have AC1900 C7000V2 Modem Router connected to Xfinity. The firmware is V.1.03.03. About a month ago, the 2.4Ghz-wifi connection started being unstable while the 5GHz is working fine. Most of the t...

Has a factory reset and setup from scratch been performed?
Power OFF the modem fully for 1 minute then back ON?
What channels are you using? Auto? Try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz.
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?

Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?I have not done a factory reset and setup from scratch. Not sure how to do that. Do you think you could walk me through the steps?
I have powered off for over one minute several times.
I am on channel 11 (auto). There are 18 others that I can see, mostly on chanels 1, 6 and 9. There is one other wifi on channel 11. Switched to channel 11 manual. Will see how that goes, thanks.

IF you have other wifi neighbors near by, you could be in a wifi congested area.
Try turning down the power output of the modems wifi radios from 100% to 50% and see if this changes anything. Under Advanced Tab/Advanced Settings/Wireless Settings
Lets see if your changes will help before doing a reset:

Thank you FURRYe38 for all your help!
My version of the netgear menu doesn't seem to have an option to turn down the power. So far all I've done is switch the channel. That does not seem to do it. Does it have to be 1, 6, 9 or 11? Can I go to a chennel that nobody else seems to be using, like 7? Or are the others reserved for something else?
If I am in a congested area, will a factory reset still help?
