Netgear C7000v2 Slow wifi speed
I recently upgtaded my broadband plan (Breezeline formerly Atlantic Broadband) from 100mbs down 5mbs up to a blazing 600mbs down and 50mbs up. I am seeing those speeds on my wired connections. Unfort...
a couple things.
1. you won't see 600mbps over wireless. wired you will
2. there's a 2.4ghz band and 5ghz band. 100mbps is pretty fast for 2.4ghz. the 5ghz should hit faster speeeds.
3. what band did you test on?
4. what device did you test on? Have you tried other devices?
5. since you upgraded you speeds, did you ever factory reset/reinstall? sometimes old settings can slow the speeds.
I did a factory reset on the modem.I was testing at 2.4G. I just tested at 5G next to the modem and I got 328mbs download and 50mbs upload. thanks for your help!
