Recently factory reset, almost every setting is default - except it for it being setup as an OpenVPN server, this part works and a laptop with the OpenVPN client can connect to it successfully from outside the network and is given a 192.168.1.# address. It needs to RDP to a device on the router's local network which is 10.0.0.#. They are not able to route between each other even though the "All sites on the Internet & Home Network" is enabled within the VPN Service configuration.
The Static routes menu is not under Advanced - Advanced Setup to set this up manually.
Latest firmware is installed.
Might be missing something obvious, any ideas?
Thanks
Through the VPN connection, you are not going to be able to connect devices between two different sub-nets.
You are going to have to put the router that hosts the VPN server and the device you are trying to RDP to on the same sub-net.

The way it's setup as the moment -
Netgear router hosting OpenVPN - 10.0.0.#
Local device - 10.0.0.#
External laptop - when connected to OpenVPN - 192.168.1.#
At some point I read that connecting devices were given a different subnet then allowed access with the "All sites on the Internet & Home Network" option. It's seperated the networks by default, what do I need to do - manually change the IP of the connecting device to 10.0.0.#?
Thanks,
