Netgear CM1000 Invalid Serial Number shows a Motorola Modem instead

Cox Cable called back stating they wrote down the incorrect model/serial number after me reading it back to them multiple times.....
My apologies for the waste of time, but I appreciate Netgear for also looking into the issue and their helpfulness!

we would never show Motorola serial number on our device. It might be incorrectly coded in the ISP provisioning system with motorola.
You should probably escalate to L3 and if you cannot get it resolved, pls PM us following:
COX Account #
COX Account holders name
COX Account holders phone
CM MAC
CM SERIAL NUMBER
any COX TICKET #
