Netgear CM1000 Speed issue

I have comcast internet with 150mbps provisioned speed.  I verified with them up to their tier 3 support that the prvisioning is correct.  I am only get 105mbps, so they feel there is something wrong with the modem,.  I doubt there is but any ideas are appreciated.
