Netgear CM2050V Modem Firmware Update to V10.01.03
Some reports earlier today out of PA, updated firmware for the CM2050V modem has been pushed. No indications this is a test case or a slow roll example. This firmware should be mid-split capable. ...
With the new firmware in place for several months there were no changes in throughput. Xfinity performed maintenance in my area last night. This morning my CM2050V connected to the Enhanced Speed Network. Over a long period of time, miserable communication from both Netgear and Xfinity. The numbers are consistent with my plan.
All aspects of the modem working? UI accessibility and stability?
Everything I have checked has worked reasonably well. Including the VPN server running on my router.
Occasionally it takes more than one attempt to successfully log in to the UI. Once in the UI, it may take a couple of tries to bring up the cable statistics or the event log. The eMTA log and call log work fine.
YES! I just rebooted my CM2050V and now get numbers similar you! The last time I checked a couple of months ago it as about 700/40. Uploads speeds are now much faster! I am in Maryland.
