netgear cm400

I recently got a new firestick and it will not pick up my netgear modem....I never had a problem with the old fire stick .I have tried everything i can imagine i tried to enter it manually also no good..I called time Warner who is my ISP and they told me the problem was with my modem but I have no problem connecting to the internet on my modem i just cant connect my TVs firestick

    Firstick needs a connection to a wifi router that connects to a modem like the CM400 which is ONLY a modem, no router here. Please refer to the mfr of the firestick for help and information on how to connect it to a wifi router.
