Please post a copy and paste of the modems connection status page.
Have the ISP check the signal and line quality UP to the modem. Be sure the ISP provisions the modem correctly.
Be sure there are no coax cable line splitters in the between the modem and ISP service box.
Be sure your using good quality RG6 coax cable up to the modem.
Be sure to power OFF the modem for 1 minute them back ON.

I go to shower 10 minutes later to come back and see it's still doing that. I get antsy and take the power out, wait 1 minute, then put it back in. This time all the lights flash and like said in the manual, the online light was flashing indicating it was connecting. 30 seconds later it goes back to only downstream flashing red. What do I do?

The connection is good, I used it for a cable tv box with MOCA and it worked. Also I have verizon fios, and yes I know fios is a fiber optic connection, but the cable that feeds the coax splitter that then goes to my room comes from the ONT for MOCA so you can watch youtube and such on your FIOS TV box. I am simply using the modem as a access point to put the ethernet in my PC for better response time and speeds since wifi is garbage

I would guess that the CM modem is getting a incorrect signal from the MOCA line and isn't compatible or getting a correct signal. the CM modem requires a specific signal for it to work right.
