Netgear CM500 vs CM500 NAS, What's the difference?

Netgear CM500 vs CM500 NAS, What's the difference? If there IS a difference, will either work with Time Warner Cable ISP?

    Thanks for the reply.

    I assumed they are the same (the spec sheets were identical).

    I don't know why companies give different model #s but don't tell us the diff, if any !

    Thanks again, and I really appreciate the email response (so I don't have to keep checking the forum to get an answer - the reason I don't usually use forums).

they are both same.

 

CM500 = CM500-100NAS = CM500-1AZNAS 

 

there might minor packaging difference in aznas but the modem is same.
