Netgear DGN2200v3

I've upgraded my internet speed from 15 Mbps to 50 Mbps, but the max. speed I'm getting is still 15 Mbps. I've called my ISP and they told me my router doesn't support VDSL so unless I buy a new router, the max. speed I'll get is 15 Mbps. Is this true? Does my router only support max speed of 15 Mbps?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

If your ISP's 50Mb/s service uses VDSL, then the ADSL[2+] modem in
your DGN2200v3 will not be able to reach that speed.

       I'd say so.

It does over its DSL interface.  You should be able to get higher
speeds within your (wired) LAN, but even there, the DGN2200v3 Ethernet
ports are limited to 100Mb/s.  (Newer/better devices would typically
    have 1000Mb/s Ethernet ports.)

Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number,
and look for Documentation.  Get the User Manual.  Read.  Look for
    "Specifications".
