Netgear equivalent of xfi app?

Hello, I just purchased this modem, which replaced our xfinity modem. Three questions:

 

1) What's the Netgear equipvalent of the xfi app? I want to set a wifi access schedule for my kids' devices (automatically shuts off during certain hours), and get alerted when devices connect to our WiFi.

 

2) What's the difference between the 2.4 and the 5 Ghz? Which devices should connect to which?

 

3) How do I change the password that's imprinted on the modem?

    Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware.

    Check the sections in the manual Specify Basic WiFi Settings and Set Up Parental Controls.
