Netgear Genie will not work on my new Windows 10 machine

To Whom   I just got a new laoptop computer with windows 10 and Netgear Genie will not open, it does a short search and then wants to shut down the Genie. My new laptop has window 10 has Windows 1...

Have you tried to open the genie software as administrator? also may want to reinstall it.

    I am having the same problem and I have reinstalled the software numerous times but still have the problem where the program does not want to start.  I'm assuming this is due to compatibility issues.  Please help.

      I had the same situation following Windows 10 install.  I went to Netgear to find the latest Genie install, downloaded, and installed.  Seems good as before when I was on Windows 8.1.  Hope that helps you.
