Netgear N300 C3000 Wifi issues

Hi there, I have a Netgear N300 model C3000 modem/router combo. Wired connection gets a speed test in the 80 mb/s download. When I do a wireless test 3 feet from it. It goes down to 13 mb/s. When I go upstairs. directly above the room where the router is. I get 0.13 mb/s. I really need some help, just want fast enough speed to be able to use my xbox upstairs. Thanks!

What channels are you using? Auto? Try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and any unused channel on 5Ghz.
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?

Try enabling Beamforming and MIMO(MIMO may or maynot be needed) and WMM. Under Advanced Tab/Advanced Settings/Wireless Settings

This modems wifi may not be suitable for gaming. I recommend wired connections for gaming. To get better wifi, you might look into bridging the modem and getting into a differnt router or turn OFF the wifi on the modem and install a Orbi wifi MESH system in AP mode for better wifi coverage and performace.
