Netgear N600 good speed on wired LAN but poor speed on WIFI (IPV4)
I purchased N600 and i have xfinity 100 MBPS plan. Over wired LAN i am getting constant 89MBPS speed (on both ipv4 and ipv6). But over wifi speed drops to 15 MBPS on 5GHz line on IPv4. Surprisingly speed over IPV6 is 89 MBPS ! I am doing speedtest by http://speedtest.comcast.net/ which tests both IPV4 and IPv6 speeds. Moreover i also observed that my mobile phone (iPhone 5s ) drops wifi signal a couple of times. I am sharing my results:
Over Wired LAN :
IPV4 / IPV6 --> 89 MBPS
Over WiFI (5GHZ ) :
IPV4 - 15 MBPS
IPV6 - 89 MPBS
Over WIFI (2.4 GHz) :
IPV4 - 5 MBPS
IPV6 - 13 MPBS
So much variation.

I have tested N600 throughly ( i am ready to share my results too ) and came to conclusion that N600 speed on wifi ( specially on 2.4GHZ ) channel doesn't matches even near to what we get on wired LAN. I have tested on xfinity 75 MBPS plan. I also tested Netgear AC 1750 and results were good. I was almost getting the simmilar speed on wireless as i get on wired LAN. I scheduled xfinity technician and certified my cable connection and the signal levels were fantastic. The fact that my connection is good, i am getting around 89 MBPS on wired LAN. But poor speed over WIFI clearly indicates that we have some problem with N600 hardrware/software. N600 advertises 300 MBPS speed and mentions its compatibility with xfinity, i am sorry to say that N600 fails to deliver what it advertises. I have called up netgear technical support several times. They even replaced the device two times but still i am having the same issue.
At this point of time, i would request Netgear to issue me refund what i had put on the modem. I would like to hear from netgear team.

For the the readers. I got call from Netgear. They took a long remote session, tested and took all config information. But still failed to provide solution / answer to this slow speed. The ticket is still open and i am working with Netgear. I will keep updating as and when Netgear progress on this case
