Not sure that's the issue. On WiFi I am getting consistently faster speeds on the 5ghz band. This leads me to think there is a setting in the router that needs to be adjusted.

Shouldn't be anything that needs changed to get full speeds across the lan connection you may want to try and factory reset the modem incase something from a firmware update messed up.
