How are you trying to change the Wi-Fi configuration? Are you using a mobile device like a phone or a tablet?
If yes, you need to change to a real computer with a web browser and connect to the C7100v via an Ethernet cable. If not possible with an Ethernet cable, a connection via Wi-Fi should work.
My modem is connected via ethernet cable and yes im trying to change it on my phone

What web browser are you using? Edge? Firefox? Chrome? Something else?

Windows 11 and i use brave browserRecommend you try a different web browser program. Before you connect to your C7100v, go in to the settings on the browser and clear the cache and any password information you have saved for the user interface.
Brave should work. I have good success with either Firefox or Edge.
